ASCENSION Recordings is an independent electronic music record label founded in 2026 by Greek DJ and producer ACE B. (Vassilis Poulias), who also curates its artistic direction. Rooted in the Aegean, the label releases Melodic House, Deep House, Organic House and Afro House, guided by emotion, atmosphere and artistic integrity.

Each release is approached as a complete artistic statement — sound, imagery and story moving as one. The aim is not simply to release music, but to build an evolving catalogue with identity, continuity and lasting emotional resonance.

ASCENSION moves across Melodic House, Deep House, Organic House and Afro House, with progressive energy and ethereal textures woven throughout. These are not rigid boundaries, but different expressions of one evolving musical language.

Its Aegean roots emerge through space, light and movement — where ritual rhythm, cinematic flow and emotional storytelling turn each release into a journey through memory and transformation.

THE FOUNDER

BY ACE B.

ASCENSION Recordings is the artist-led vision of Vassilis Poulias, the Greek DJ, producer and label founder known professionally as ACE B., whose relationship with electronic music began behind the decks in 1987.

On August 1, 2000, he founded Gravity Records in Athens, working across A&R, production, creative direction and label management. Focused largely on Chillout and Chill House, Gravity Records released his own work while giving a platform to Greek artists with a distinct artistic voice who were often overlooked by major record companies.

That independent, artist-first spirit now informs ASCENSION Recordings, a new label built for the music ACE B. is creating today. It gives him the freedom to release music that may not fit another label’s direction, while complementing—not replacing—his collaborations with Flipside Recordings / Proton, HouseTribe Deep Japan and Be Adult Music.
